    Sometimes I stream myself programming and if I happen to go to the preferences to change something, the first thing on the screen in very visible text is the Username and License. A tick box to hide it or something would be nice.

    I could easily addd this, but I don’t see any useful need for it. Should it use a sort of password char on the license number?

    Yeah, that could work. In my head I had a picture of a panel just sitting over the text boxes.

    Yes, the thing is that I consider it should be easy for a new user to locate where he/she has to enter the license detais, so I’m not very inclined to hide this. A password char approach shows that the correct location is there and a toggle to enable/disable the password char thing could do it… I’ll think about this

    I just opened up VS and made a test in a couple of minutes with the WinForms. It looks like it is fairly easy to do. I’d actually never done this in any of my programs.

    Switching the view from text to a password is simply

    Code:
    txtInput.PasswordChar = “*”[0];

    Switching back to the text from the password

    Code:
    txtInput.PasswordChar = (char)0;

    Thanks very much for adding this. I appreciate it very much.
