I just tried to load Jungle, it worked fine this morning, but Avast won’t let me. I was going to unsintall and then re-install Jungle, but Avast won’t let me download from here.

It’s telling me there is a Win32:Evo-Gen trojan

It’s a false possitive. Maybe you could add jungle folder in the exceptions list. also, I would appreciate it a lot if you could send the offending file to Avast, so they check it better and add this file to the known exceptions.
By the way, do you have any idea of what file is causing the false positive?

EDIT: It does not let you donwload from here? I don’t think there’s much I can do here!

    Our site is secure:

    http://scanurl.net/?u=jungleide.com&uesb=Check+This+URL#results

Avast should revisit they blocking policies or maybe the offending file should be sent to them.

It’s only doing it with the updates, Setup 14-01-08 seems to work fine.

I will try adding it to the exceptions list. I will also look into how to send a file to Avast.

I temporarilly disabled Avast while I downloaded and installed “14-09-17-A”, Avast moaned as soon as I tried running Jungle with the shields back up. It gave me the option to add the scan to the exclusions list, so I clicked that and it now lets me use it.

Did Avast mention any file as suspicious? I mean any DLL or EXE or whatever? I would like to send the file to them so they can scan it propperly to avoid false positives like the one you’re experiencing.

It initially said that JungleIde.exe itself was suspicious, but didn’t complain about “jungle-ide-14-01-08-A-FULL-SETUP”. It complains when I download updates directly from your site and won’t let me install the updates that appeared when I tried installing recommended updates from within Jungle itself.

The only way I can apply updtaes is if I disable Avast before downloading manually from your site, and then installing while Avast is disabled.

It complains when I try to download the following:

    jungle-ide-14-09-17-A-update.exe
    jungle-ide-14-09-10-A-update.exe
    jungle-ide-14-09-07-A-update.exe
