That's very weird. Jungle Ide does only use the standard .net system streams for write/read operations, and the write is quite fast, so it is very complicated to cause this on a blackout. Have you considered getting a SAI?

@origaming
Sorry to hear that you lost your file(s). I lost an entire program because of hard-drive failure a few years back. Didn't have a single backup of it. I recommend getting a private svn/git/hg repository for your code and update it every day or after any major changes. Also, you might want to look into getting a UPS: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uninterruptible_power_supply Especially if you either have frequent brownouts or blackouts.

@ziggy
I'm going to put this out there. Have you thought about adding a Microsoft Office-esque automatic backup every few minutes. So if it crashes and those backup files still exist, then it can tell that Jungle was closed incorrectly and could attempt to recover the files if they're newer? It's just a thought. It could be a lot of work though...

SAI is the spanish achronim for uninterrumped power supply, in English it's an UPS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uninterruptible_power_supply I would recommend it a lot to prevent data getting lost or corrupted on a black out.
